This two million pound mansion was bought by Noel in the summer of 1997 as a country "get away" from all the pressures of the band and London.

The home is 21 miles west from London. it has EIGHT bedrooms, FOUR bathrooms, a music hall and an INDOOR swimming pool.

The eight acre house also has stables, a tennis court and croquet lawn! Noel has christened it "The Sheiling" which means "Home" in Gaelic.

The house is in a quiet lane and cannot be seen by road. It's in Chalfort St Giles which is a quiet village. On The eight acre land, Noel plans to build a five-a-side football pitch. However, his planning permission for floodlights was refused.

Noel has been seen out and about in the village. He has been to a local fundraising evening for the school and gave away a gold and platinum disc to help the school. The discs raised over �5,000.

The village also has Mike Oldfield and a Celine Dion producer living there!!

This unclear picture shows the hallway of the house. It has a very old antique style to the home and is likely to be different now. The picture was taken just as Noel was moving in, no doubt he would have added his own touches.

Local residents are split on whether the Oasis superstar in their quiet village is good. His neighbour Ian Gardner is a Conservative party fundraiser and objects to Noel's trip to 10 Downing Street!
